My name is Joe Markey. I’ve spent the last 20 years helping companies of all shapes and sizes make the right hires and avoid painful, costly recruiting mistakes.

I wasn’t always the go-to expert for hiring top talent, though. Like most entrepreneurs, I started out relying on instinct and hoping for the best. Through starting and growing my own home service based small business (Monster Tree Service) I’ve seen firsthand how the wrong hire can slow down a business, drain team morale, and burn through cash.

I quickly realized that I wasn’t the only small business owner struggling with this problem and knew that there had to be a better way. So by leveraging my experience and partnering with some of the best hiring organizations in the world, I found it.

Since then, I’ve built recruiting systems for all kind of businesses.
